When You Pray
Remember that we pray by grace through faith. Romans 1:17; Ephesians 2:5-10
We are in Christ, and we are completely righteous before God. 1Corinthians 1:30
Realize with Whom you are talking! The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 9:10; Luke 1:37; Mark 11:22-24; Psalm 46:10
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil, and we have been given authority. Ephesians 6:12; Luke 10:19; Matthew 28:18-20; John 14:12
Ask for the help of the Holy Spirit. John 14:26; Romans 8:26-27; 1Corinthians 14:15; Acts 2:17-18
Pray humbly, confessing our sins and the sins of the nation. Daniel 9:4-19
Ask boldly. You are a priest and a king and a son or daughter of God. Hebrews 4:16; 1Peter 2:9; Revelation 5:10; Galatians 3:26; Romans 8:14-16
Be grateful for God’s blessings, and for the great privilege of prayer. Psalm 100:4; Hebrews 13:15; John 14:13-14
Understand that things are not as the media portrays them. 2Corinthians 11:13-15; 1John 4:1-6
